Description and Challenges

I had the privilege of participating in Mymizu's API project, where they invited developers to propose innovative ideas for enhancing their application's functionality. The initial challenge I faced was adapting to working on a production code base. Developing new features while maintaining consistency with the core functionality and design of the app proved to be a demanding task. However, through collaborative efforts between my team and the company, we were able to introduce unique concepts that significantly improved user retention.

One particular feature, Milestones, while conceptually straightforward, presented significant challenges in terms of design. This project demanded a strong focus on UI/UX, making it one of the most design-centric endeavors I have undertaken to date. It provided me with invaluable experience in design-focused development, skills that continue to influence my current projects.

From a professional standpoint, working with an environmentally focused company like Mymizu was a transformative experience. This app compelled me to reconsider environmental efforts through a business-centric lens, sparking a deep passion within me to further contribute to environmental causes through my development work. It was a pivotal moment that shaped my dedication to developing solutions that drive positive change for our planet.
